fatbook pages finally finished!!!!

phew! well i have finished all the pages for the butterflies fat book swap - the closing date is not till june but now i have the fairies one to crack on with :0) LOL!

Fat books

Have been busy making fat book pages for a Butterflies book swap on cardmaking and papercraft forum. Its the first time i have taken part in a fat book swap and i am loving it although not had much time for atc's or cards lol! I only have a couple more pages to make but then i have my eye on another fat book swap for fairies so think that will def be next :) Heres some piccies anyway

Shopping, mothers day and more atc's

Good week all round so far, on Tuesday I went to see about my new job and I start on 10th March!! Woohoo! On Wednesday we poped to the craft central store in Buyrights at Hadleig and it was fab - came away with loads of stuff including the new docrafts goody bag :)

Last night and today I have been playing with my new stuff and catching up on some atc swaps that i owe as well as making some last minute mothers day cards! (The butterfly is my first prick and stitch card)

ATC's

Well this afternoon I sat down to make an atc for someone (blue fairy) and ended up making a few more :) Its been a while since I have done any atc swaping so I thought it was time I made a few and i am quite pleased I did!

Picture is a bit blurry because it is decoupaged, i then aded some matching blue gitter, flowers and a gem stone in her hair as well as some 'hairy thread' round the edge.

2 new cards for you today, the first one is orange but looks a bit red?! Anyway the flower is made using papers that came free with a magazine and hand drawn stitches. Again the wording came with the papers and i used a couple of little brads to embellish.

The second one is for my Godfathers birthday, I really struggle with mens cards and usually end up with the tried and tested paper shirt lol! Anyway I think the pattern kinda swamps the card but not sure.

(BTW wonky pictures as scanner has half slipped down back of pc and couldnt be bothered to pull it back up ha ha!)

This is one of my most recent cards which i made for my husband for valentines day, today!
The background paper was kindly offered by someone on a crafting forum I am a member of. I then simply used brads (hearts) and layed them on coloured card and trimmed with some leather effect strips.
